Terms of Use
The rules for using Clarify, in plain words.
Last updated 30 October 2026. These documents are being reviewed and may be updated. If you have any question about them, write to support@clarifyai.in.
About these terms
These terms apply when you use ClarifyAi ("Clarify", "we") at clarifyai.in. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. Questions go to support@clarifyai.in.
Who can use Clarify
Clarify is for school and entrance-exam students. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy for you, and should help you use Clarify sensibly. The signup form asks you to confirm that.
Your account
- Use your own email address and keep your password to yourself. One account is for one student.
- Free accounts are limited to one per person. Signup checks may stop extra free accounts from the same device or network.
- You can delete your account at any time, from the app or at clarifyai.in/delete-account.
AI answers can be wrong
Clarify's explanations are written by AI models. They can contain mistakes, including in numbers, steps and facts, even when a check has run. A Deep-check badge means an independent check ran and succeeded on that answer; it is not a guarantee that the answer is correct.
Use Clarify to understand, not as the final word. For anything that matters, such as marks, applications or your health and safety, check with your teacher, your textbook or another trusted source.
Using Clarify fairly
Please do not:
- use Clarify during a test or exam where outside help is not allowed;
- upload anything unlawful, hurtful or sexual, or anything you do not have the right to share;
- share other people's personal details;
- try to break, overload, copy or scrape Clarify, get around its limits, or use automated tools to sign up or ask questions.
We may limit, pause or close an account that breaks these rules.
Your questions and photos
What you send stays yours. You let us store it and send it to the services listed in the Privacy Policy so that Clarify can answer you and keep your history. Answers may be reused, without your name or account, to answer the same question for other students, as the Privacy Policy explains.
Plans and payments
The Free plan gives 3 new doubts a day. Paid plans are one-off 30-day passes: Starter at ₹250 for 9 new doubts a day, Balanced at ₹500 for 15 new doubts a day, Pro at ₹1,000 for 45 new doubts a day. A follow-up on a doubt you already asked does not use a new doubt. Daily limits reset at midnight India time.
Passes do not renew automatically. How payments, failed payments and refund requests work is set out on the Payments and Refunds page.
Changes to Clarify and to these terms
Clarify is being built and improved all the time, so features can change. If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
Limits on our responsibility
We work to keep Clarify running and its answers useful, but it may sometimes be unavailable or wrong. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from relying on an answer. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law gives you and cannot be excluded.
